The franchise JEN JU DAN TEA is a highly popular milk tea brand in Asia. The mission of this project is to help an already established brand break into the saturated Australian beverage market. As the first store in Australia, IDXA helped to establish an interactive statement featured in the centre of the store, creating a feature that could be a visual landmark for the brand. In nature trees constitute shelter and gathering, with this in mind, the “Tree” offers a place for gathering and photos. It was constructed around the idea of standing seats where customers could lean against but not sit on it. The surrounding step seating made the tight interior seem spacious and gave an alternative option to the customers to enjoy their beverage.
